Washington Bass
Association

The Washington Bass Association is a not for profit group of greater Snohomish County bass
anglers dedicated to preserving and promoting the sport of bass fishing.  Each year we participate
in several events geared towards increasing awareness in the general public about bass fishing
opportunities in the area, as well as teaching the techniques used.

Through club tournament competition we promote the sport, enjoy the outdoors, and try
to improve the skills and knowledge of all members. After each tournament there
is a sharing of the techniques and patterns used by the top finishers, as well as plenty of time
for fellowship and good old fashioned fish stories. Each tournament features a members
raffle, and every out of town tournament has a pot luck that is always a hit. At the end
the year a Tournament Angler of the Year is determined by total points earned. The tournament
standings also determine the make up of the next years WBA team that fishes in the state qualifier
series for a chance to advance to the FLW championship.

The WBA is more than just a tournament organization. We support community events such
as the Red Apple Markets Texas BBQ, Big Brothers and Sisters of Snohomish County fish in,
Fishing Kids events, as well as support the Washington State Bass Federation by manning the
booth at sportsman's shows, hosting kids casting competitions, and  providing man power
for events.
